Trophy system is very unlikely to be closed and as much is now stated officially by sony. The PSN system will not shut down, just stores - and apparently redownloading/download list will still be around for your past purchases. Of course, Sony being Soyny they could still shut down trophy system even though they mentioned no such thing while the store closure was more or less detailed on what functions will be lost and retained - such as PSN plus subscriptions still working as well for the systems (?). https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/important-notice/ Though, if there is games that one can get digitally more comfortably than physically and wants to earn those trophies, you better see if you can splurge "now" or never. |
