Hi,

I have uploaded my character to https://www.eso-database.com/en/ and submitted my API token. After entering the token I get the message, "Your Game Account hasn't been scanned yet. It's in queue".

It's been a few days and nothing has been updated, the tracker is still showing it's "working". I have tried entering a new token and still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I love that MGS tracks ESO's in-game cheevos!

Hi, thank you for notifying us!

I went ahead and manually scanned you, but just like you said, it still says "Not Scanned Yet".

I tried diagnosing whether it was a site-wide issue, but other users have "Scanned 1 minute ago", so I'll take a guess that it is a individual problem.

I am unaware of how the gathering of ESO-achievements is done, so I will forward this post to get this resolved.

In the meanwhile, would you be able to answer these questions, they might help us get to the bottom of this a bit faster:

1. When did you link your account the first time?

2. When did you notice it didn't work and re-linked it?

3. (I am assuming you already have achievements unlocked), but what date was your latest unlock?

4. What happens if you enter an invalid token? (Completely made-up) and then retry with your previous one?

I will forward your answers ASAP, and hopefully the questions I made up will be sufficient enough for finding the problem faster!

If anyone else has encountered this issue, please reply here (it can be brief) as this issue may actually be a more widespread issue than we think it is.

Cheers!

I linked my account about 4 days ago. I checked daily and after the 3rd day I realized it wasn't going to work, so I re-linked it with a new API token.

My last in-game achievement unlock was yesterday.

After entering in a random token, then changing it back to the original, it still says "working".

Hi, thanks for the quick response! :D

How odd, clearly the site has had plenty of time to scan you with your initial token...

When you entered in a invalid token, did it ever register that there was something wrong?

My suspicion is that there is something off with the scanning of newly linked user accounts (which involves creating a game-profile behind-the-scenes)...
Unless, is there any privacy setting somewhere on the ESO-site?

Also, looking at the instructions here, does it not appear to be hinting at some steps in order to start tracking achievements?
(Unfortunately, I do not have an ESO-account, so I cannot go through the process and check myself)

My ability to fix this is very limited, so if we can't come any closer to fixing it right now, I would have to assume it is an issue with the site/API which takes some time to tinker with.

So, hold on tight.
We'll get this resolved soon enough! ^^

No, there is no error message, unfortunately, but that's not a big deal. I don't expect that to be implemented.

And yes, I have followed those instructions. No worries, I can wait for a solution. Thanks for the help so far!

Oh well, at least we can say we tried our best. ^^

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, I will notify you here once we have implemented a fix!
