If I get achievements on a game that is on steam and Xbox. Do the scores merge or are they separate?

Scores are separate, you'll get points for the game for each platform you play it on - sometimes you're able to get points based on the regional version of the game too (Sound Shapes for example is available on PS3, Vita, and PS4 in all the different regions (US, EU, JP, HK)). Hope this helps! |

While we are on the points topic, anyone know how points are calculated? I couldn't find it. But, I might just be thick.

hrm... I have had some challenging achievements that I think were rated at a couple hundred points and easier ones that were around two thousand. Basing challenge level not only on my subjective experience, but the % of people that completed them. |

I believe it's likely based on number of players with the game and number of players with the achievement. There are probably some other clever factors in there, but those are likely the main ones. Which makes sense, as if a game has 20,000 players, and only 40 of them have an achievement, that specific achievement should be worth loads of points. |

Is there a way on metagamerscore to see what region a game comes from? |
