Hello! Our resident Guild Wars 2 enjoyer here to report in one some needed maintenance for the game here on the site. Firstly, the game's fifth expansion, Janthir Wilds, came out last year, so it should be added to the expansions list. I've discussed in the past how GW2 has a lot of daily/weekly/repeatable achievements that MGS detects and adds to the achievement list, but which aren't actually scannable due to their nature. I've gone through and left comments on a bunch of these; they should be marked as unobtainable, along with generally anything that includes "weekly", "daily", "repeatable", etc in its name. Finally, I've noticed that there are a number of achievements that should have no reason not to scan, but aren't. I'm not sure what's up with these, it could be an issue either with the GW2 API or with MGS; in either case, I marked a number of these with comments as well. |

Hi again! Assuming it was the expansion listed as "Expansion 5", I have named it "Janthir Wilds". For the unoptainables, thanks again for making everything very clear! I did find six cases where the lower tiers have been obtained by MGS users: - Omnipresent Oblige Obscure - No Rest for the Kryptis - Never-Ending Nurture Knowledge - Loyalist Harrier - Never-Ending Nurture Knowledge - Sempiternal Solidifying Strength I have marked the achievements not scanning as broken for the time being (to distinguish them from the actual unoptainables). |

Thanks for the swift work! I've also noticed that some of those lower tier repeatables have gotten scanned. At first I assumed it was a sort of rare glitch—maybe you could actually scan a repeatable if you had the right timing or something?—but with the full list it seems that's not the case. All of these repeatables that are actually scanning are from Secrets of the Obscure, and they're for similar things. Perhaps these ones were coded a bit differently than the rest? |
