It seems like a waste of a resource to have a page dedicated to each cheater. Why not just do what Astats does and just ban the user's account and not make a public announcement? When the scanning bot is searching for steam achievements, if it notices that a large amount of them are earned within the same minute, it'll ban the user. If it's wrong the user can make an appeal through the cheaters board. | |

Probably mostly a question of finding time to implement such a system (I'm no dev so can't say how much would be needed). We kind of have it with Roblox so maybe we will in the future (assuming we can avoid banning unfairly for games like PAYDAY 2 and HALO). By a quick look at the topics, the report rate is about 1 in 25 users – and that does add up with ~30k all-time users. A big portion of the reports are "blatant SAM" cases that could be handled automatically with AStats' method. As for the public announcement, it has pros and cons, I agree. It does provide easy access for the banned user so they can see what they were banned for and appeal (but ~99% of bans are not appealed anyway). We will probably have to store the information somewhere regardless (in case a user wants to appeal). |

In regards to the automatic roblox stuff, will roblox accounts with spam achievements ever be processed/unbanned? |

In theory yes. It requires the user to remove all of their spam badges which is not a trivial task to do – especially if they have over a million from years of farming. | |

Will there ever be a time when that won't be the case and even those badges will be scanned? |

Very unlikely as it will overload the queue – we simply can't handle millions of (worthless) Roblox badges. |
