Hi there, I just wanted to make a post stating that while I was playing MHS2, I went to do an online quest (specifically to hunt an Anjanath), and as soon as the quest was completed, I got roughly 20 or so achievements randomly. As of right now, I am at 83% completion on the game. I am not sure if this is a hacker or not who managed to give me all of their achievements, or if it was some kind of multiplayer bug. Since I was previously (and rightfully so) accused of cheating, I just wanted to make sure any mods knew that this happened randomly. Please let me know if this is the wrong place to post this, or if I need to go in and lock the achievements. Due to the timestamps, I should know exactly which ones I need to lock. For reference, my teammate was level 27, and I am around 15. I don't know if this has any impact on what just happened or not. Thank you! |

Hi! Assuming you haven't cheated in this game in the past, this is generally fine. It happens to everyone (including me). I don't know this particular game but some multiplayer games can transfer achievements like that. We can't control/prevent this in any meaningful way so we won't punish you for it. If you find a game that for whatever reason can unlock many achievements at once, you can leave a comment on the game page explaining it, like I did with my game here. That way, if you are ever accused, we will see on the game page that this has an explaination. |
