Hello,

first of all - nice site, well done.

I'm having troubles with linking my Retro Achievements-Profile though. I made an Account, tried some Games and the Achievements worked, but as soon as i link the profile on here i says "Failed". When i click on the RA-Box under "Accounts" though i takes me right to my profile...so its linked correctly. I also unlinked and linked it, tried to manually refresh etc. but nothing works.

RA is currently experiencing issues with with connecting to their servers. They made it so that people can still earn achievements there, but it was even affecting their website to the point they shut down the site for a few days. Remember, they are just a community driven project with no major backing, so these issues may pop up from time to time when more users are there. They have turned off the API to their server for sites like this one until they can fix the issues.

I'm also unable to scan my retroachievements profile. The text says it's not working and to check back later. Has the issue been resolved yet?

As of 10-7-23 I'm still experiencing this as well. I guess I'll just follow this thread and keep waiting.

Small update: I was able to use it until the start of september, but after that it stopped working again. Recently returned to scan some retrogames again and found out it stopped working.

So, is the API still down and that’s why RA still isn’t working on here?

Looks like it just started working again yesterday. My account finally synced when I retyped and saved my RA username on the gaming account page just now.

Same here, was able to refresh succesfully again since yesterday.
