This is a really dumb idea, but I just wanted to know what people would think about tracking Kongregates "Kongpanions". They're basically like little collectible pets you can get by earning specific badges during a certain time period, and if you earn enough badges in the week, you can get a shiny variant of the Kongpanion. These aren't achievements, but they're earned solely from earning them. I think it would be pretty cool to display your favorite Kongpanion on your MGS profile, as a cute little addition. My favorite Kongpanion is salty :) |

Nice idea. I'm somewhat of a collector myself (my main reason for still useing Kongregate is to collect the remaining kongpanions). But as they are not "real" achievements (like you get in a game) I don't think it will be implemented – but I would definitely support it. I don't think it would be that hard to implement (but I could be wrong). The badges are category 1 (see this post: https://metagamerscore.com/forum_topics/4113) and I think I have seen a similar page for kongpanions once. It would be a nice way to keep Kongregate alive for a little longer (at least for those who don't have all kongpanions) as they don't add normal achievements to games anymore. My favorite Kongpanion is either Daniel, Cornell (as I was 2nd on that one) or Clover (my first kongpanion back in 2014). |

Another problem is the time limitation. If you miss a kongpanion you need to wait 6-7 years for another chance (if Kongregate survives for that long). They are basically unoptainables from the start. Kongregate already have weird scores here (often extremely low, like 3, or extremely high, like 4300). If kongpanions are implemented they probely need to be nerfed in points as some (like those in 2020 or early 2021) would likely be more 3000-4000 point achievements due to the time limit. |

I mean, they are not called as such, but basically they are meta-achievements. API seems to be missing time earned though =( |
