This question has been asked in the past, but I'm curious as to why Google Play hasn't been added yet. We know for sure that it's possible because a similar site, "Exophase", has support for Google Play achievements. I recently got a new Google Play game and now wish to be able to track my achievements here. I don't think there is a direct way to access the achievement information from a Google Play Games account, but there is the option to link your google account and the ability for such services to request access to your Google Play Games activity, which is exactly what Exophase does So I know that at MGS, no accounts are actually "linked", just simply scanned for the achievement information. Google Play doesn't allow you to do this (Correct me if I'm wrong) so adding a real account linking feature would be necessary. Any other information as to why this can or cannot be done would be appreciated! |
